Bingjie Time: Say no to drugs

(ECNS)-- Do you know？In recent years, many kinds of new drugs have emerged, and quietly lurked around us in disguises.Beverages like soda and milk tea can be the cover of dangerous drugs produced by criminals; Delicious popping candies may also be their choice; Do you like stamps? They can also be the third generation of drugs. 

In 1839, Lin Zexu gave the word to destroy opium in public at Humen in Guangdong Province. In 23 days, a total of around 1188 tons of opium were destroyed. The heroic act in Humen is especially hailed as a monument in the world’s anti-drug history. 

On International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, we visited the Fuzhou New Museum in Beijing, a museum that remembers Lin Zexu and also a national base on anti-drug education and promotion, to review China's anti-drug history, remember those who fight in this course, and learn how to protect ourselves from the harm of drugs.
